Paper about protecting facial recognition systems against morphing attacks presented at IJCB2024

Our paper entitled “MorFacing: A Benchmark for Estimation Face Recognition Robustness to Face Morphing Attacks”, first authored by PhD student Iurii Medeved, was presented at the International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB) 2024 in Buffalo, NY, EUA by Prof. Nuno Gonçalves. The paper which was accepted for the Special Session dedicated to the theme Face Morphing Attack and Detection Techniques (FMADT-2024) was presented in a talk in the plenary session of the conference and then in a poster session.

This paper presents a new benchmark for comparison of the robustness of Facial Recognition Systems to Morphing Attacks. The potential impact of this paper is substantial as it will provide developers and researchers a tool to estimate the robustness of their algorithms of facial recognition.
