Two papers to be presented at an international conference

Next week, Farhad Shadmand and José Silva, VisTeam researchers, will have their work presented at the 14th International Conference on Pattern Recognition Applications and Methods (ICPRAM 2025), that will be held from February 23 to 25, 2025, in Porto, Portugal.

Farhad’s paper entitled “StylePuncher: Encoding a Hidden QR Code into Images” will be presented on Sunday at 12h15. Meanwhile, José Silva’s paper entitled “Towards Secure Biometric Solutions: Enhancing Facial Recognition While Protecting User Data” will be presented on Monday at 9h30. Notably, José’s paper has been nominated for both the Best Paper Award and the Best Student Paper Award, highlighting the exceptional quality of his research.
