ISR-UC maintains the “Excellent” rating in FCT evaluation!

The Institute of Systems and Robotics – University of Coimbra (ISR-UC), home of the VIS Team, has obtained the “Excellent” rating under FCT 2023/2024 Pluriannual Funding Program for R&D Units.

From the 336 candidate units, ISR-UC stood out as one of the 41% rated as “Excellent“. This distinction, accounting along with the number of integrated doctoral researchers and the intensity of the laboratory, granted the institute with 2.15M€ funding for the period from 2025 through 2029.

This result recognizes the impactful work carried out at the ISR-UC, as well as the quality of its scientific output.

Congratulations to all ISR-UC researchers who contribute daily to the growth and scientific excellence of the institute.
