Nuno Gonçalves presents seminar at the University of Aveiro

On Thursday, April 9, Prof. Nuno, representing the INCM Lab, presented a talk entitled “Semiconductors, anti-counterfeiting and encryption – the link between the physical and the digital” at the Department of Physics of the University of Aveiro(DFis-UA). His lecture was part of the DFis-UA Seminar Series on Semiconductors & Technologies.

Prof. Nuno introduced the activities of the INCM Lab, showcased ongoing and completed projects developed in collaboration with universities and R&D centers — including with University of Coimbra and ISR-Coimbra; and highlighted patents and innovation fronts. His talk explored how these initiatives intersect with the use of semiconductors to secure both physical devices and digital systems.

The session sparked engaging discussions with researchers and students, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in tackling today’s cybersecurity challenges.
